#4 Business Cards

To create these business cards in Illustrator, I first created six 3.5in x 2in rectangular boxes to copy and paste into a file on illustrator. Next, I copied my logos into the designated cards and starting editing. I changed the background color on each card to give them each a different appearance, I centered the logos differently, and I changed the fonts of the informative writing. On the middle business card, I reflected the logo on the back side to make it appear as though you're looking through it. On the bottom business card I chose to two contrasting colors on each side.

#3 Logos

To create these logos, I first had to come up with a business idea and name. I thought a store that sold alcoholic icees would be popular in Tampa, and the name "Frost" seemed simple, modern, and bold. Next, I found images online that could be used to best represent my business such as a snowflake, penguin, and icicles. I traced these images with the pen tool to make them my own and then added in the text in different fonts and colors. I think that all three are very different and would be effective in giving my business the face that I want it to have.

#2 Line Art

The process of this Line Art project began with importing a line art image from the internet and using the pen tool to create different anchor points along the lines. Once you created an anchor point, you held the cursor until you reached your next desired point and from there drew the curve to best fit the original line. Straight lines were a bit easier to trace since you didn't have to create the curve. After all the lines were traced, the text was added.
