#12 Audio

Extending off of the Animation project, our next task was to add audio to the stop motion we created. In GarageBand, we uploaded the stop motion mp4 file and then chose background music and/or sound effects that we thought were fitting to the video. I chose to do background music for the intro section of my video which shows the title, and then once the car starts the race I chose to add race car sound effects to make it seem as though the car was actually emitting those sounds. My goal was to make it sound as realistic as possible with the sounds of tires burning out, car horns, and applaud from the audience once the car crossed the finish line.

For this project we had to take 60 photos of an object, setting, or person slightly moving more each shot. When all the photos are put together they appear to move as though film would. To do this we had to place the entire folder of photos into Photoshop, put them into the correct order, adjust the length of each frame and add transitions or filters to add a sense of oneness. Once the photos were put together at a good speed, we exported the stop motion as an mp4 and it played as though a movie would.

#10 Morphx

For this project I had to find three photos of myself, one as a baby, one as a toddler, and one current photo. I started by cropping the first baby photo and then cropping the other two images to be the same size as the baby photo. I did this by resizing the images so that the eyes lined up in all three photos and lowering the opacity to make sure. Next, I added the photos into the video timeline on photoshop and made each photo appear for a certain length of time. I added in the "cross-fade" transition to make it look as though I was progressively aging and like my face was morphing from one age into the other.
