#5 Gradient
For this project I had to find an image of a fruit on the internet and then move it into Illustrator. The first thing I did was trace the outline of the image, and then I had to create a gradient mesh in order to recreate the gradient of the fruit. The highlights and shadows of the fruit were copied by outlining the area and then pasting it onto the new lemon. To get the exact colors of the highlights and shadows I used the eyedropper tool to select the original color of it and transfer it to the new lemon. Lastly, the texture was added and changed color accordingly to replicate the pores of the lemon and give it another dimension.
